About McClure Design
In 1954, after being a union carpenter for a number of years and serving in WWII, Marvin McClure
started McClure Construction Company. His desire was to build quality homes at the best value.
He always treated his customers with honesty and integrity.
From the time his first spec house was started, his reputation as a quality builder spread quickly
and people began waiting for him to be their builder. In the 1960’s he expanded into commercial
construction with his first projects being an office building and a church. During the 70’s and 80’s,
the company continued to work more in the commercial aspect of building.
In 1998 McClure started working in the design-build process of construction. They have continued to
grow and are now licensed throughout the southeastern United States. While growing, there has been a
focus on keeping up with innovation and being environmentally friendly. McClure is a member of the
US Green Building Council and is has a LEED AP on staff.
Safety is also a concern that is taken care of in weekly trainings and programs. Each person is taught
to be responsible not only for themselves, but for everyone around them.
McClure partners with carefully selected sub-contractors and self performs in most facets of the
building process. We believe that this aids in the building of long lasting relationships with our
customers. Since the beginning, we have participated in well over 300 projects and 60+ churches.
We look forward to the opportunity to be of service to you.
